There are links to a few sites of my own that I've built and designed and a few "Dummy" sites to showcase what I can do for you in terms of design.

The dummy sites are "1 Pagers" as this means I didn't have to install complete standalone WordPress instances to create the designs. They're designed to be responsive from Desktop down to mobile as well. 

I won't waffle on too much about them how I built them, what I was thinking when I did x, y or z; there are links to them so feel free to take a look for yourselves. If you like them and want to work with me, drop me a line.

Project Overview: Luxury Boutique Tattoo Studio

Challenge: Design a website for a premium, appointment-only Tattoo studio. I wanted to build something that was more "luxurious" than the traditional walk-in street shop style and design something that appealed to a high-end clientele seeking custom, fine-art body modification.

The site had to convey trust, cleanliness, artistic specialization, and a certain level of exclusivity. Call to Action (CTA) buttons in a nice, luxurious Gold colour are spread throughout the site giving potential clients the chance to connect with the Studio and the Artists.

Project Overview: For the dummy site, The Mindward Path, the idea was to create a site that was warm, soft and reassuring in tone and feel.

The Challenge: For sites dealing with thearpies it's essential to convey both a businees-like professionalism and a warmth that radiates kindness. 

Call to Action (CTA) buttons are placed throughout to give prospective clients plenty of oppertunities to reach out and start a relationship. 

Soft, pastel colours, friendly Sans-Serif font and lots of space hopefully make this site feel inviting and comforting.

Project Overview: One of the other strings to my bow is Bass Guitar Coaching. I worked with a local Vancouver Teacher to create a site that was friendly and informative but not overwhelming in terms of content.

The Challenge: Sites for Coaching, any type of Coaching, can become info-dumps, walls of text explaining how awesome you are as a Coach so, working with an experience music teacher, I designed this site to be informative, friendly (especially as I may look quite intimidating in the pic!) more image and "idea heavy" than text heavy. 

As a Coach it's my job to work with clients, get them to where they want to be and get out the way. I felt that extended to the site itself too. Tell clients what I offer, get out the way and let them decide if they want to work with me.

Project Overview: Create an online resource for Bass Players with a mix of Sheet Music Transcriptions and Lessons. 

The Challenge: Techinically this is a Directory website and there are plenty of tools out there for building them but I went all in and built this from the ground up using a Page Builder and tools for creating and managing Custom Fields. 

It's an evolving site, the walk-through and page architecture are under constant review to ensure that it's as logical and seamless as possible for users. 

The site is a mix of Artist profiles, Recoring and song pages with a listings pages for all Aritsts and Genres etc. It's a work in progress given how big it is and how regularly I have to create content for it.
