"I have been drawing since I was a child, and started tattooing in May 1993. Artwork has always been my means of connecting and communicating with the world around me.

It is less of a choice and more of an obsession."

Dave has been tattooing in the Vancouver area for 20 years, originally hailing from Saint Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia.

His tall tales and wizardry exemplify his maritime roots.

Originally from japan, Michie has been tattooing for 20 years and has spent last 17 years at Sacred Heart Tattoo.

She enjoys tattooing fineline black and grey work, nature inspired work and Japanese style tattoos.

James "Horichou" Bird is a tattoo artist with over seventeen years experience, originally from Melbourne, Australia.

For the past six years, James has worked in British Columbia, within the greater Vancouver area.

Growing up immersed in hotrod culture fast tracked her interest in tattoos.

The desire to help people feel more at home in their own skin and her love of art are what ultimately brought about the drive to make a career of tattooing.
